Q. What is the cost of tuition?
A. The individual school district, not the parents are responsible for the cost of tuition and transportation to Gateway School.
Q. How many students are in each classroom?
A. Our Classes can vary in size from 5 or 6 students, to as many as 12.
Q. What professional certification do your teachers hold?
A. All of our classrooms have a Certified Teacher of the Handicapped and at least one Teaching Assistant. Many of our classrooms have more than one Teaching Assistant. The needs of the students help to determine the ratio of student to staff assigned to each classroom.
Q. Are the students at Gateway School in specific grades?
A. No, the students are separated into Elementary and High School but not into specific grades. The students are placed in classrooms based on their specific learning and behavioral needs as well as their age.
